The Gorean Depot is a live (real time) BDSM free discussion room, based upon the principles set forth in the John Norman novels, as adapted by the Master/slave lifestyle. Open discussion is encouraged by all participants, be they Free or slave, and all may introduce a topic, and share their opinions. The Home serves as a gathering place for the real time practitioners of the Gorean lifestyle. It has a decidedly BDSM slant that may offend purist practitioners of Gor. The Homes relaxed and tolerant atmosphere is guaranteed to absolutely offend the strictly role playing Goreans out there. The Home is very tolerant of other members of the BDSM community who wish to learn about Gor in an environment where no one is hacking them up with a cyber sword, and what have you. We do NOT condone such activity within the Home. Instead, we offer a place that other real-time Goreans, or the curious, may come, meet, learn, and develop friendships, and relationships. While you need not be Gorean to enter the Depot, you are expected to observe the tenants that Gor is founded on: Respect, Trust, and Honour. Be civil and enjoy. We know our Gor, and would share that with you if that is your desire. ItÂs not required that you learn Gor here, although we have excellent resources to help you if that is your desire. It IS our hope that as a result of visiting our Home you will, at the very least, leave with a deeper understanding of our lifestyle, a respect for a truly wonderful lifestyle, and perhaps embrace it.
Is there role play? In a word, yes, but very mild role play. As some do come here to learn about Gor as it applies on-line, as many aspects of on-line are excellent tools for developing the proper mindset for living the lifestyle real time, or simply as a starting place to move into a purely role-play environment. We offer help to either class of Goreans. Therefore, you will witness slaves kneeling in obeisance, or karta as it is called on-line. It is required that every slave or sub entering the Home do so. You may witness a slave doing a serve, but if you came here to be served, you may have come to the wrong place. You may witness a dance, a high art form, or a slave doing a simple chore. Again, these are developmental tools, and not a requirement beyond that of entry and departure.
There is NO: face stripping, forced collaring, kills, fighting or anything of that nature allowed at any time. The Gorean Depot is Full Tags (AOD).
The Home is of Gor and those visiting will be expected to observe Gorean manner and custom. However, it is open to all, regardless of lifestyle, or level of exposure to Gor. The Home is tolerant of those who are new, interested in learning, or just exploring, be welcome!
