There are Rules that must be obeyed at every step 1) of Rushing; then, if you are lucky and prove yourself worthy, 2) of Pledging; and then, if you are very, very lucky and prove yourself extraordinary in the various criterion of this House, 3) of Initiation. If you break a rule, there will be dire consequences. If you make it through these three steps to our satisfaction, then you will have the honor and privilege of calling yourself our Sister at I-Ate-a-Pie.

1) You must obey every rule.

2) You may not start a new thread; i.e., you may not use the "Post a new Topic" function. (When and if you are accepted at each level, Rush, Pledge, and Initiate, an appropriate thread will be started for you).

3) To begin, you must post a description of yourself below. Remember, only the best-of-the-best are invited to pledge our sorority. If an I-Ate-a-Pie Sister considers your description sufficiently interesting, then she might start a thread for you to continue rushing Iota Eta Pi. On the other hand, if it is boring, or even just ordinary, you will be left standing alone by the punch bowl and petite fores, feeling awkward and inadequate.

I really don't know much about how sororities work, but everyone says it's a good idea to join one. I study engineering and really don't belong to any other clubs or such. Do you think this might be a place for me?
