I was always sexually inspired by all the paintings of naked martyrs being tortured in Catholic churches. I tried to imitate this while masturbating as teenager. Much later i learned about BDSM and let myself several times be suspended at a cross. The suspension is only partly as the pain and effect is unbearable, the feet and or ankles are supported to make such position possible and still then, it is extreme play. For Sado's and men in general, the look of a naked male stretched and sweeping his body in pain on such cross works very stimulating.
