In day-to-day life I'm polite, independent, and respectable. Smart-casual in appearance, though occasionally in a suit.
I was formerly exploring with a partner while living in London a few years back and now wish to reexplore after a gap period. I'm also interested in other, newer, areas that pique my curiosity (see below). Because of this, I'm probably best suited to a beginner exploring at an early stage or someone also coming back after a gap. The idea is mutual exploration: your interests (old and/or new) as well as my own.
Work/career details aren't the order of the day here so I'll round myself out a bit with some recreational stuff: lapsed glider pilot, having learnt to fly in schools in the Welsh mountains and a lapsed scuba diva (PADI Open Water Certificate). Summer kayaking in the lakes/rivers of the Welsh mountains and along the coastline. Medium-term interest in a Pilot's Licence for a couple of overseas microlighting adventures.
After London, I'm now based about 12 minutes from Cardiff Bay and about ten minutes walk from several beaches and some fantastic coastline.
I can accommodate with ease or travel within reasonable distances.
[B]Interests & Former Experience[/B]
My main experiences prior to the "gap" revolved around bondage, erotic spanking, and also servitude in various roleplay scenarios. I'm interested in reexploring a lot of this as well as broadening things out.
1) [U]Bondage[/U]
Iit isn't inappropriate to post photos here of a former partner because I don't have her permission. However, there are photos in my photo album of rope bondage skills applied to a medium-size artist's mannequin and an inflatable version (!). See more below.
I would also enjoy the use of various restraints (ankle spreader, bed restraints, a St Andrew's Cross door restraint), but I'm more interested in rope bondage, and would like to find someone to explore this area further (even fully clothed for a cautious enthusiast).
My framework for this is the [I]Two Knotty Boys[/I] project (see Amazon reviews of the books). In general, I'm interested in bondage because I like the aesthetics of rope play, the complexity of rope-tying, and the beauty of the end result. There's also a psychological side (anticipation, a better sense of a shared experience, plus being tied slowly in silence or to the right music can be a really hypnotic experience, almost like a shared ritual). I would also include breast bondage. Swollen breasts and nipples are arousing on every level, especially when combined with nipple clamps. With breast bondage (as with decorative bondage), there's obviously also no full loss of physical freedom, so it can be a useful compromise for someone new and/or just experimenting.
I find bondage interesting because people are drawn to it for so many reasons -- loss of control/the removal of responsibility; the look and the sensation; the emphasis on denial, tease, and orgasm control; the trust aspect and the tranquility and "shared ritual" experience as the ropes (or restraints) are added slowly. I also find the idea very arousing of being in physical control of someone's body while it is restrained.
I also enjoy the bondage depictions in the early pioneers like Bernard Montorgueil , Irvin Klaw, and John Willie. Apart from often being very funny, the illustrations are brilliantly sexy. I have a couple of examples in my photo album here. I also quite like contemporary fetish photography (Newton, Ken Marcus, Roy Stuart, etc) and would love to take photographs of any willing exhibitionist.
Finally, so-called predicament bondage is when someone is bound while having something else done to them. A good example is being spanked. I am especially open to this in view of what I say about spanking below.
2.[U] Erotic spanking[/U]
My former partner loved the sensations involved in erotic spanking as well as the psychology involved in the power exchange. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who loves spanking for either of these reasons -- or better still for both. I love the look and feel of an ass being spanked - the redening, the warmth, the glow - and I am a huge fan of roleplay. I think it liberates, creating a mental freedom from inhibition and responsibility. The imagination is a hugely sexy thing when it's let loose on this sort of mental exploration/subject matter.
I have a home office which could be adapted to various scenarios such as boss/secretary, teacher/schoolgirl, employer/maid, etc. Whatever the options, I am open to realistic "rule-breaking" roleplay scenarios, including dressing up.
3. [U]Domestic servitude & Roleplay[/U]
My former partner and I also enjoyed playing domestic servitude roles, and I'd love to hear from anyone interested in roleplaying in this area. This is a "quieter" area of BDSM activity but having experienced various "nude maid" scenarios in the manner of the website The Upper Floor I know how slow and erotic such exhibitionistic roleplaying can be. I'd like to explore various objectification scenarios as well as collar/leash activities in this area.
[B]Lesser Interests[/B]
Mixed wrestling (light play): Having experienced a little of this with a former partner, I found it very arousing. The main purpose is to overcome gradually through nude or partially clothed wrestling which leads to physical restraint in tight, close-up positions by the male. Once restrained or pinned down in various positions, there are further options for play.

[U]Latex/PVC/etc[/U]: I have no experience but I find this area extremely visually arousing, and the sensations again the skin must be incredible.

My Ideal Person:
As stated in the introduction, the emphasis is on exploration, and I think my situation would be most suitable for a newcomer or someone returning to this.
I'm looking for people with genuine interests that overlap mine with whom I can develop friendships over time. Someone who would like to explore long-held fantasies and enjoys the idea of experimenting a little while having relaxed, unpressurised fun.
A "play partner" situation would be ideal, though if something longer-term could develop I may possibly consider it. One-off encounters are less likely to work on this site but I am open to them.
I'm relaxed and easy going and don't pressurise. Initially email communication and/or online chat are fine, though an endless recycling would be pointless.
I'm not interested in a TPE (24/7 lifestyle). My preference is for exploration only within preset times.
Comfort, Trust, and Rapport (CTR)
Discretion is guaranteed and expected.
"Safe, sane, and consensual" is a bottom-line expectation, for your sake and for mine. Hopefully we both understand the difference between limits and boundaries and how communication ("safe words" etc) mediates between them.
CTR can only be built up through open and honest communication, mutual respect, and understanding. This is why there'd be no expectation of meeting after five minutes of communicating on here.
A note on sado-masochism
I'm not a sadist and am not looking for heavy masochists, though nipple clamps and other sane, consensual devices like light floggers and spanking implements could happily be on the agenda.
